My study programme

I’m already in my fourth year of university, studying arts, and I think there are many things to value. Teachers are great connoisseurs of techniques and theory. Within the program there are several paths that students can take according to their interests, therefore it is possible to choose art workshops from different specialties. That’s good to the extent that everyone is learning and doing what they like, without isolated from acquiring other knowledge, or  from what others are doing. It can happen in this career, which requires, or promotes, a lot of individual work, that we’re not used to teamwork. Group work dynamics have been implemented, yes, and there depends on the disposition of each of us, understanding that to live from art we will need a lot to form support networks. I’m not sure if the academic program is meant to promote this, or if we only realize ourselves on the way. Well, this race is in constant renovation, I don't know in detail the latest cha...

My humble opinion...

In this moment, I going to talk about child labor. Something that I would call a pathology inside society, one of the most explicit signs of deterioration of the sense of humanity. I think it is a demonstration of a serie of shortcomings in a competition-based system, where individual development is always more important than the collective. A logic from which many nations do not escape.  Worrk has been understood as synonymous with virtue and effort, that success is the result of sweat alone, ignoring the social, political and economic structure that forces some to "strive" more to ensure its own survival, without sure that they can improve their quality of life. Work dignifies to the extent that the individual develops his own abilities and contribute to his/her environment at the same time, No person should be prisoner of need and be pressured to sell their strength under these conditions, let alone a child, that at a young age he/she should be exploring his/her inter...

A film I recommend watching

Imagen
I don't watch many movies or series, I don't give myself much time to do it, but when my family turns on the TV they search on Netflix or other platforms something to be distracted, I stay with them eating cookies and drinking a beer.  In recent times with my brother get together to watch movies or series and once we saw Pacto de Fuga, He’d already seen it three times, but he wanted to accompany me because I had never seen it, and it's a movie to watch many times without getting bored.  It's a movie of David Albala and several well-known Chilean actors participate, among them Francisca Gavilán,  Benjamín Vicuña, Amparo Noguera, I’d like to mention them all because there are many great actors and I think everyone plays their role very well.  I don’t think it’s possible to spoil what it’s about, because it is a historical fact of Chile that many should know, and know how it ends. But if you wanted to know how the escape of the p...

One of the most enjoyable trips

Imagen
I’ve traveled a lot with my family. Well, we traveled more when I was a child, every year we drove to some place of Chile, other times we took a plane to the furthest places or to a neighbouring country. Every year was a different place.  One I remember the most was when we toured the Araucanía region. As usual, we were my mom, my dad, my sister and I. That happened when I was like 10, eleven years ago, in a couple of weeks we visited mountain range and sea, yeah, we did a lot in two weeks.  We visited the Conguillio National Park of unparalleled beauty, and we met the oldest araucaria,  tremendous tree! Under the gaze of the great volcano Llaima. Everything there is monumental.  But what I remember most about those vacations, was camping next to a Mapuche community, they rented the place to us and four other families, and we became good friends. We woke up with the sound of the kultrun and wild birds. Was right next to a pond, where we went to bathe a...

Some country i would like to visit...

Imagen
I haven't thought much about places i would like to visit out this country. I think i have a long way to go in Chile, there are many beautiful places that i don’t know yet. But i would definitely tour several Latin American countries. One in particular calls me attention, because in my life I’ve been told a lot about there and i want to see it in person. Cuba. My mom went last year in a pleasure trip. An uncle also went, to get a better health care. Who come from there have told me their experiences. The people are smiling at one another in the streets, talk to strangers in public transport as if they were family or friends, there are doctors attending in each neighborhood. People are simple, of course, there are not many luxuries. If i go to the island some day,  i would like to know joy in that simplicity. I like to dance salsa, but how but how would it be to dance with the greatest exponents of salsa in the world! Would be really great! See th...

My experience in the blog...

Mh.. My experience in the blog.. Well, about this, i just have to say that sometimes i loved it, and another times i hated it,  depended on how my day had been, as it was to write in the afternoon every Wednesday. And Wednesdays are usually for lunchtime activities like as assemblies, that it sometimes go well, and another times not so well. I think it's a good experience and it is fun, although sometimes i get stressed because I don't know many words yet. But i have to confess that i use the translator so much  ji    ji  but not the google translator, no, that's not, no. And yes, i've noticed that my writing is improving. and comes out more or less naturally. But i have to confess also that i didn't always write the three comments to my colleagues and to teacher, most of the time because I said i'd make it on my way home from my cell phone and i always forgot it. I would like i could put a nice picture on the blog, which i never could, ...

My favorite food

Imagen
My favorite food uhm... if it's lunch, or bottom dish, what i like to eat is the gnocchi, this italian pasta bathed in salsa. It seems that you can bathe it in any sauce, but the one i know more and enjoy is the tomato sauce. Its preparation is so simple, their are made of crushed potato with flour and a little baking powder, like my mom does it. For the souce well, i like that it have onion, carrot, oregano, salt and minced meat, like my mom does it. Really, i have no memories of having tasted other gnocchis that weren't from my mom, probably in some italian restaurant i ordered gnocchis to eat thinking they'd be like the ones i've eaten at home, but they weren't and they don't deserve to be remembered. That must be why i like them, but the ones my mom prepares, because she always prepares them when the whole family gets together: when my siblings come home and my father dad is not on duty and he can have lunch with us.  The gnocchis taste like family day...
